Winter is when hedges are best reduced, leaves pile up and storms bring trees down. We cover it all right through to spring, for homes and commercial sites.

The person behind Bay Links

Bay Links Maintenance+ is Alex Rutter's business, built on more than ten years of working outdoors. Alex walks your garden with you, talks through your ideas, agrees the work with you and sees the build through, so you deal with the same person from first visit to handover.

Good to know

Do you work evenings and weekends?

Yes. We work 7 days a week, including evenings and weekends, which is handy for businesses that can't have work done during opening hours.

What happens to the green waste?

We take it away with us. Green waste and debris are disposed of and recycled responsibly, so there's nothing left for you to deal with.

When can hedges be cut?

Light trims are fine most of the year, but bigger hedge reductions are best done in winter. Between March and August we check carefully for nesting birds first, as active nests are protected by law.

Will pressure washing damage my driveway or patio?

No. We match the pressure and method to the surface. Block paving can lose some jointing sand when it's cleaned, so we'll tell you if it needs topping up afterwards.

Can I have a one-off job, or do I need a contract?

Either. Plenty of customers book a single clearance or clean. Others join our maintenance cycle for regular visits. Commercial sites can have a scheduled contract.

What happens after I get in touch?

We reply to arrange a visit at a time that suits you, look at the job together, and then send a written quote for what we've agreed.
